OSHKOSH, Wis., Feb. 22, 2016 – Christian Community Childcare Center is accepting new students at its second, remodeled facility. The new center, located at 1760 W. 7th Ave. in Oshkosh, opened in August after a complete renovation.

The Christian nonprofit first opened in September 2000. Due to enrollment increases over the last two years from current family recommendations, directors at the center decided to open a second location to continue a tradition of excellent faith-based care and education.

“Eighty percent of a child’s brain development happens before age 5,” said Beth Meller, executive director of Christian Community Childcare Center. “Our nurturers plant the seeds of Christian faith at an early age, allowing God’s love to bloom for an eternity.”
Christian Community Childcare Center cares for infants and children through age 12.
It also offers a 4K school program onsite. Children are guaranteed one-on-one time with their nurturers, and all programs at the centers emphasize physical, social, emotional and spiritual development.
The nurturers are licensed in early and elementary education. All nurturers are also certified in first aid, CPR and SIDs training. There are currently 88 students receiving care and education at the two locations.
